We are excited to announce that Season Two of A World With officially launches today! We begin the season with an episode by Elizabeth Couse who explores a world with no saviours.
Imagine a world where those who hold the knowledge and tools to solutions are given the resources and political power to make them. In this episode, Costa Rica based environmental activist Elizabeth Couse, identifies one of the biggest obstacles facing our current climate movement – saviourism – and explores what happens when we remove saviours all together.
In this world, we are shown the potential of what could be when a farmer in Costa Rica who has been stewarding the land for generations is treated as an expert and an Indigenous water guardian isn’t a beneficiary of conservation, but its author – a world with true solidarity as our guiding principle.
